Bowdon Parish
Bowdon Parish is for all ages. There is always a welcome for parishioners of all ages at our services across our three congregations with many specifically aimed at the younger audience.
Worship Times
We are a thriving church community with plenty of things happening for all ages. Please see our website for details of parish groups and other ways to get involved.
Places of Worship in the Parish
School Worship
Every Wednesday, a member of our Ministry and Mission team comes into school to deliver a faith filled, fun assembly to the juniors and infants.
Underground
Underground is our Friday night (7pm to 9pm at the Parish Centre) youth group for year groups 7-13 Years led by our Youth Missioner, Sam Wilson. Each year, we welcome Y6 children from Easter onwards, and it is always good to see a large group of BCS children attending. Amongst the fun, competitions and the fiendish games, there's always a serious topic to engage in each week, helping young people develop a moral compass underpinned with a Christian faith. It is also a good way for the children to continue the friendships that they have when they go to different secondary schools.
Please contact us on youth@bowdonchurch.org or by calling the parish office on 0161 929 1537 if you would like more information.
School Services in Church
We love the links that we have with Bowdon Church School. We regularly welcome the entire school into church for major services: Harvest Festival, Junior Carol Service, Easter and Leavers' Service in July
If you or your children aged 8 and above are interested in joining our choir, do contact Michael Dow at music@bowdonchurch.org.
