Empathy Day

"Empathy is a vital human force, creating happier children, stronger communities and a better world.  We've never needed it more than right now." (Empathy Lab)

The day is centred around books with online events and home-based activities to help children read, connect and act using empathy.

“Scientific research shows that reading builds empathy. So let’s use stories to help the rising generation develop superb empathy skills, and build a better world. It’s our best hope for the future.”

(Judging panel - Empathy Lab)

Authors, illustrators, schools, libraries and families across the UK will be staking part and we would love for you to join in! (Empathy Lab)
