In 2025 -26 the school took part in the PiNS Project (Partnership for inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools). This programme is a collaborative national initiative across England designed to help mainstream primary schools better support neurodiverse children.

This week's sports updates
Year 6 were treated to a production of Macbeth today, which they will use to inspire their writing this Autumn. They were buzzing afterwards and made the following reports:
On Monday, a group of our Year 6 girls had the fantastic opportunity to represent BCS at an inter-schools football competition held at the Etihad Stadium.
Last Thursday was the school’s Spring Concert where the orchestra were able to share the music they have been working on this term.
Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children had the pleasure of meeting inspirational author and illustrator Sophy Henn
Both our boys’ and girls’ teams reached finals night after finishing top of their respective leagues.
Last Friday, Mrs Cochrane and Ms Parle took our Sportshall Athletics team to the Greater Manchester Sportshall Athletics competition, held at the Manchester Regional Arena on the Etihad Campus.
Well done to all the Y6 children who completed their Bikeability course since half term.
