This week - a Role Model who has a steely determination to be the best she can, striving to improve on everything she does. Well done! Our Merit winners have shown a fabulous attitude in returning to school and are picking up their pace, firing up their focus and achieving great things. Keep it up!
Four merit awards this week for fabulous writing. The children have been turning prose into narrative - we were using The Highway Man' as our inspiration. Some fantastic writing; examples will be published in our web area once finished.
Our Role Model shows tenacity in his maths reasoning - thinking around problems and not giving up. Well done. One of our Merit Winners has shown great bravery (despite being bruised and battle worn) and has carried on working as hard as she can with a smile on her face. Our other Merit winner is working with determination and focus and is achieving incredibly well as a result. Keep up the hard work everyone!
Our Role Model couldn't be trying harder with her overall presentation and handwriting despite it being a challenge. The Merit winners have written some very emotive WW1 letters, imagining they were soldiers in the trenches on the Front Line. Harrowing yet impressive writing.
Polite, positive, hardworking and generally perfect - our Role Model this week. Our Merit winners stood out for their fantastic metaphor poems. Finally I'm seeing what they are fully capable of, and it's wonderful!

This week's Role Model is perfection personified; she does every task to the best of her ability, striving to achieve greater every time. One of our Merit winners has shown great knowledge and skills in our Science lessons, demonstrating a sound understanding of our Solar System and a great ability to create and interpret charts. Our other Merit winner has impressed me with his mathematical reasoning skills - he shows real depth in understanding with his detailed explanations. Well done to these 3 Musketeers!
