Theatre Club has been set up to encourage and inspire the children who have an active interest in Performing Arts.
We aim to visit the theatre every half term and will run sessions at lunch time where we will discuss the production and characters in detail. Occasionally we will ask the children to choose one aspect of the performance and then produce a small project.
This year the Theatre Club have been to the Altrincham Garrick to watch Oliver Twist, The Waterside Arts Theatre to watch 'Angel' and to the Stockport Plaza to watch Hairspray.
We are on the coach on our way back.

Thank you you so much for all your support and understanding with the coach situation earlier. We managed to get to the theatre with a minute to spare. 😊
I just wanted to touch base with you all before the Theatre Club trip on Friday 28th December. I hope the children are all looking forward to the Pantomime. There will be a Question and Answer session afterwards so the return time is slightly later at approximately 5.50pm.
If you need to contact me between now and then please drop me an email on email@example.com This will be my method of communication on the day of the production should I need to contact you for any reason. I will also update you with any arrival time changes on the Theatre Club section of the school website.
If you would like to send a small snack, packet of sweets or an unopened drink with your child that is absolutely fine. J (Please note the theatre will not allow drinks inside the venue where the seals have been broken.)

We had a fantastic time at Aladdin last night. The children were mesmorised from the moment the curtain went up. We had great seats and a few of the children even got a wave from some of the characters on stage. It was such a great experience for them and they were so polite and well behaved! Have a lovely Christmas and New Year!
From Mrs Sales & the Theatre Club Staff
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Manchester Palace Theatre watching Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
We had so many lovely comments from the other people that were sat around us in the theatre. One lady told me that ''The children were a credit to the teachers and the school and that we should all be very proud of them''
We were very proud of the children and they are an absolute delight to take to theatre every time we go. We hope they enjoyed it as much as the teachers did.
Please keep an eye on this page for future trips and have a look at our photos from the evening below.
Thank you again for your continued support.
