Reaching tremendous heights for charity!

During the school holidays, Alfie, Rory and Oscar and their team, managed to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest to raise vital funds for the North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity.

This charity is a group of volunteer healthcare professionals, including doctors and paramedics, who provide advanced life-saving care to critically ill and injured patients at the scene of incidents in Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, and Manchester. In 2024, the NWPCCC responded to 384 incidents across the region. They receive no statutory funding and rely solely upon donations.

Oscar, Alfie, Rory and their families decided to take on an epic challenge to climb the equivalent of Everest - 8848m! On Saturday 23rd August 2025, they harnessed up at Big Depot Climbing Centre, South Manchester and completed their challenge with a little (or a lot) of help from their school friends and family. They were featured on ITV News which can be seen via this link: Raising Money for NWCCC

Well done everybody! What an amazing achievement, supporting such a worthwhile cause!
