We were established in 2022, and every 2 years we are voted by our peers, based upon the following criteria:
We seek to be role models within the school community through modelling honesty and integrity.
We are a team of 12, including a representative from each class in years 3-6.
This year most of our work is linked to the Rights Respecting School Awards (RRSA), where we are currently Bronze: Rights Aware, and are working towards Silver: Rights Committed.
We are leading on this important aspect of school development, and will be speaking to governors, parents and children as well as leading assemblies and writing about RRSA in our school newsletter and on this website.
We have also been involved in developing a Play Charter, which is displayed in all classrooms and which we presented to all the children in a special assembly.

Further to our role within school, we also welcome visitors and have undertaken visits with a Democracy theme.
We have our own Google Classroom for sharing ideas and discussing issues, and we meet formally at least every 2 weeks.
We all have Vision journals, where we note down issues raised by the children in our classes, which we bring to meetings to discuss.
