Smart Tech, Safe Choices: Safer Internet Day 2026
On Tuesday, our school joined millions around the globe to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2026. This year’s theme, "Smart Tech, Safe Choices – Exploring the Safe and Responsible Use of AI," feels more relevant than ever as artificial intelligence becomes a daily part of how we learn, play, and communicate.
As part of National Storytelling Week, the children across school have been taking part in lots of reading for pleasure activities, including author workshops arranged by the National Literacy Trust.
On Wednesday, Year 5 enjoyed a thrilling road trip around the USA from the comfort of school, using Virtual Reality headsets.
This half term our Christian value is hope.
On Friday 16th January, a group of our Year 6 boys attended the Premier League Primary Stars football tournament held at the Manchester United Academy, Cliff Training Centre.
Our neuro-diverse advocates group of children in Year 5 had their second workshop provided by Starling this morning - Finding Balance. The children participated with great enthusiasm, exploring how their brains and bodies work together as a team.
