Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who help to walk the children to and from church on Wednesday for Harvest Festival and to everyone who sent in harvest gifts. All your gifts will be shared in the local community and with the Hope Centre in Partington, where they will make a difference to people’s lives.

Y3-Y6 walked up to St Mary's with their harvest gifts on Wednesday morning for a harvest service with children's prayers, poems and singng and on Thursday Rev Andrew and Jake (Children's missioner) came to us to lead worship for Reception, Y1 and Y2.

If you’ve ever wondered what the link is between a jammy dodger (other biscuits are available!) and Harvest Festival, then ask the children! Rev Andrew reminded us of all the ingredients and hard work that goes into making this yummy treat. It may help to explain the craving that some children might suddenly have!
