John Leigh Cross Country Race 

Saturday morning saw the first cross country race at John Leigh Park and our results were fantastic! Each runner should be very proud of themselves as they all did so well! We have made a great start to the season!

Sale Harriers

On Wednesday we attended Sale Harriers for another Cross Country Race meeting. In previous years Sale Harrier races took place on Saturday afternoons but this year they are trialling it during the school day. There were 4 races; Y3/4 Girls, Y3/4 Boys, Y5/6 Girls and Y5/6 Boys and we're pleased to announce that the impressive results from our entire team secured a win for BCS! Children who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each race also received a medal, congratulations to Lily who won the Y3/4 race and Rose who came 3rd in the same race. Congratulations to everyone who took part, you should all be very proud!
