Schools from across the region took part, each representing a different professional club — among them Manchester United, Manchester City, Leeds United, Accrington Stanley, Stockport FC and Altrincham FC.

Although Team BCS didn't progress to the next round, the girls gave absolutely everything in each match and wore their shirts with tremendous pride. They were a credit to our school throughout, conducting themselves with positivity and great sportsmanship from start to finish.
A huge thank you to Miss Parle for her excellent organisation in making the event possible, and to Mr Lewis for accompanying the girls on the day. Well done to all involved — it was a wonderful experience!
