    The team will forward email queries to the appropriate member of staff, but please be aware staff are encouraged not to check emails outside working hours or in the holidays. 

    If you need an urgent message to be passed to the class teacher, please ring 0161 928 8907. It is still effective to send a child in with a note for the teacher to read in the morning.

    Senior Leadership Team

    For the academic year 2025/26, Bowdon Church School (BCS) and Altrincham C of E School (ACE) will enter into a shared leadership arrangement. This collaboration will facilitate ACE's transition to new leadership.

    During this period, the Headteacher of Bowdon Church School, Mrs Halliwell, will serve as the Executive Headteacher across both schools. The Deputy Headteacher at Bowdon Church School, Mrs Moss, will become the Head of School at BCS for 2 days each week, while the Assistant Headteacher at Bowdon Church School, Mrs Thompson, will become the Head of School at Altrincham C of E School for 3 days each week.

    This strategic move not only ensures strong leadership for both school communities during ACE's transition but also creates valuable opportunities for further leadership progression within Bowdon Church School itself.
