OFSTED and Church School Inspection

As a Church Aided school, Bowdon Church School is subject to inspection from both OFSTED and SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools).  Our last OFSTED inspection took place in 2020, where the school was judged to be outstanding in all areas. The school is is always actively involved in school improvement and research, currently undertaking a curriculum review.  Over the years we have  been monitored by a School Improvement Partner appointed by the Local Authority and we are currently involved in a peer review project with other local schools.
