Children in Need
Thu 25 Nov 2021We certainly enjoyed seeing the children in an array of wonderful outfits to meet the ‘spotty or superhero’ brief last week! They all looked absolutely fabulous and had a wonderful day fundraising and thinking of others.
Altogether we raised an impressive £1,185.69!
Thank you to everyone who contributed and we all had lots of fun!

Little Princess Trust
Fri 12 Nov 2021When this young lady heard about the Little Princess Trust she wanted to donate her hair to make other little girls smile and be proud of their hair. She now has a really stylish haircut, with a smile to match.
Her teachers and friends are all really proud of her as not only has she had a big change to her hair, but she has also raised £160 so far to donate to this amazing charity, which relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers as they receive no formal funding.

Y6 Trip to Stockport Air Raid Shelters
Thu 11 Nov 2021Year 6 travelled back in time this week when they visited the Stockport Air Raid Shelters. The trip involved them exploring the 1 mile long air raid shelter tunnels which were dug 40ft below the town. The children also developed their understanding of life on the Home Front in 1940’s Britain in which they got to sound the air raid siren, practise their gas mask drills and discover what life was like at home during the war.
