School Clubs
Bowdon Church School offers many different clubs after school, which are communicated to parents each term and booked through Arbor.
Places are limited and the range of clubs can vary termly, depending on available staffing, but they include a large variety of sports, music, art and drama. These activities normally last for 1 hour at the end of school and there is a charge to pay for staffing and resources. Children who are eligible for Free School Meals are offered a free place on request.
Please note children must be committed to their extra curricular clubs and a high standard of behaviour is expected at all times.
If children cannot attend, for whatever reason, the Club Leader must be advised either directly or via the School Office.
For sports clubs children must:
Wear school PE uniform
Have their hair tied back
Not wear ANY jewellery
Bring an inhaler if needed
It is advisable to have a lightweight waterproof coat at all times of the year but when it is cold they should also wear skins or thermals. hat, gloves etc
We also strongly advise children playing lacrosse, hockey and netball to wear sports gloves (with grip).
Please remember to name all items including gloves!
