Imagine That - School Trip

We had the best time visiting Imagine That in Liverpool. The children loved making slime, visiting the role play area and engaging with the interactive science room. 

When Granny was a girl

Year One went back in time for a day as we explored what Granny might have done when she was younger. The children learnt how to wash clothes by hand, they played some fun old-fashioned playground games and they got to look at real antique items.

iSingPop

Wow! What an exciting few days we had with iSingPop! The children (and adults) loved learning the new songs and the actions. The cherry on top of the cake was being able to perform the new songs to our families in church. The place was filled with so much joy and some gorgeous singing!

Pancake Day!

Pancake flipping and pancake eating... what could be better? We had such fun racing each other whilst trying to flip our pancakes. Even the teachers had a go! 

Dinosaurs

We have been filled with amazement and wonder as we've studied dinosaurs this term. We have done lots of writing, both fiction and non-fiction and have found out many amazing facts! We've also spent our science lessons looking into dinosaurs. Possibly the most memorable lesson we did was investigating some dinosaur 'poo'! Whilst they were initially horrified, it really did not take long for the children to start poking and prodding the dino poo!
