School Bursar

Salary Scale: Band 6
Hours: Full-time, 36.25 Hours per week
Working weeks: Term-time plus 5 INSET days

Post-Paris NJC Band 6 (£32,076 to £33,945) FTE

The Governors of Bowdon Church School wish to appoint a highly motivated Bursar to join our hard-working, lively
and successful team.
We are looking for someone with:
• High expectations of themselves and others
• The ability to uphold and promote the Christian Vision & Values of Bowdon Church School
• A passion for accounting and school finance
• Experience with school finance management systems (SIMS & FMS currently used)
• Great record keeping
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A commitment to self-development and self-improvement

This role is not suitable for an those without previous experience in school finance.

Teaching Assistant 2 KS1

Full Time Fixed Term until March 31st 2025

To start as soon as possible.


TA2: SALARY RANGE: Band 3 (points 6 to 11)
HOURS: Full time = 38.33 per week for a 39 week working year plus 5 INSET days
The contract is for Monday to Friday 8.00am – 3.25pm
The Governors of Bowdon C of E School wish to appoint a highly motivated TA Level 2 to join our hard-working, lively and successful team due to fixed funding streams that have become available for the establishment of the fixed term post.


We would welcome applications from candidates who:
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with &/or caring for children within KS1 and/or NVQ2 or equivalent in teaching assistance

Are experienced in RWI Phonics
• Have experience in supporting children with autism, physical needs, dyslexia, ADHD, etc.
• Have experience of teaching groups of children, with high expectations of all
• Have a caring nature and are willing to promote the Christian Values of the school
• Are willing to support all aspects of school life
