A (code-) cracking Christmas!!
The week running up to Christmas has been busy! We all really enjoyed our church carol services and have challenged ourselves to crack many codes in maths!
Ancient Greek Day
The Year 4 classrooms were all transformed into Athens for the day! The children enjoyed a tour of the city, a trip to the Odeon theatre and an introduction to Ancient Greek mathematical discoveries. However, most of all they enjoyed the Olympics!

Bah Humbug!
We were very lucky to have a theatre group visit us in school. After reading 'A Christmas Carol' during our whole class guided reading sessions, we were very excited to see it performed on stage!

Creative cartography!
We really enjoyed bringing elements of Europe's physical geography together. We realised our mountain chains lie across borders and that the cities cling to the rivers.

Investigating Digestion!
We had such fun exploring each part of the digestive system. Although we got a little bit messy, we will definitely remember what happens as food moves through out bodies!
