To round off our Iceland topic, we used oil pastels to create a picture of Northern Lights.

This term, we are looking at Electricity in science. We looked at how electricity is generated to homes and are starting to use technical vocabulary. 

To finish off our topic on the Romans, we designed and created some Roman sandals out of newspaper. The children really enjoyed working cooperatively to create some wonderful pieces of Roman fashion.

 This week, we looked at Roman mosaics as part of our history lesson. We then designed mosaics of our own and used bits of coloured paper to create som beautiful artwork.

To celebrate World Book Day we have been looking at There’s a Rangtan in My Bedroom all week. We wrote letters to the CEOs of companies that use palm oil in their products in an attempt to persuade them to source palm oil responsibly. 
We also enjoyed dressing up as idioms and words on Friday!
