David Reid Farewell

We had a lovely afternoon on Tuesday; celebrating the enormous contribution that Professor David Reid has made to our school and its community.  As outlined last week, Professor Reid has served on our Governing Body for over 30 years, 10 of those as Chair. The school has moved forward and changed in many ways during those years.

The Junior children all sang a version of ‘Thank you for the Music’ - Thank you Professor - and listened to his very entertaining speech about being the Governor of a school.  This was followed by afternoon tea for staff and invited guests; he very much enjoyed his special day.  As a tribute to the excellent work that he has done, all on a voluntary basis, we have decided to name the school hall, The David Reid Hall.
