The intrepid Year Five Scafell Pike team!

Members of Y5 climbed England’s highest peak Scafell in aid of JRDF – a great research charity aiming to cure type 1 diabetes.  Amelie and Albie, have type 1 diabetes and together with their friends they are determined not to let it stop them completing challenges like this.  

Here is a photo of them all at the top, where they enjoyed eating jaffa cakes in memory of Mr Hamblett - one of his favourites. He certainly would have approved of their determination and fantastic group achievement - memories to treasure.
