Year 6 Out & About!

Our Year 6 children have had a very busy week - last Friday they visited Stockport Air Raid Shelters and participated in an immersive WW2 themed day. Dressed as evacuees, they performed gas mask drills, did 1940s-style housework and learnt about the 1 mile of tunnels underneath Stockport Town Centre which housed some 4000 people during war-time air raids. As always, they were superb ambassadors for BCS and we were very proud of them. (please see the Year 6 page of the website for lots more photos!)

 

Then on Tuesday Year 6 participated in Crucial Crew, a multi-agency event which taught them life skills to keep themselves and others safe as they become more mature and independent.
