Saying Goodbye

A sad farewell to Mrs Morrow and Mrs Clarke

We bid an emotional farewell to Mrs Morrow and Mrs Clarke tomorrow but we know they will keep in touch and be there for sage advice!

We wanted to share this amazing cake with all of you, designed and made by parent Kathryn Walsh. She has very kindly donated the cake and is just starting her own business - KBakes.  We know she’ll be very successful with this as an example of her skills.

We're sure you will all join with us to thank Mrs Morrow and Mrs Clarke for all they have done for the school over the last 20+ years, they will be hard to replace but we wish them well and hope they enjoy the peace and quiet in September!

We also say goodbye to Miss Grencis, who has a new post teaching Year 6 in Birmingham: we wish her lots of energy and enthusiasm for September!

Year 6 - saying goodbye

Last night we held our annual Leavers’ evening in a very hot hall, celebrating the many and vast achievements of Year 6. Songs were sung, anecdotes shared and a few tears shed, but the children leave us confident and proud - which is just how it should be!

This morning the juniors walked to church for the Leavers’ service and Y6 children were presented with a Bible to enable them to continue to follow our Christian values.  Our thanks go to St Mary’s Bowdon and St Peter’s Hale for sponsoring the Bibles and their ongoing love and support for our school.
